Your children who will be entering grade 3 - 8 in September 2008 are invited to join in the fun, friendship and learning of Camp Tongil. Our program will run six nights from Sunday afternoon, July 6th to Saturday morning July 12th.
Camp Tongil will again be held at the beautiful Cornet Bay ELC, which is located at Deception Pass State Park, on the north end of Whidbey Island. Cornet Bay is nestled in tall firs and features cabins, hiking trails, sports field (dodgeball!), beach combing and a nearby freshwater lake for swimming and canoeing. To this we will add the fellowship, crafts and spiritual education that have made Camp Tongil a happy memory and treasured experience for children since 1995.

Campers entering 8th grade, get ready for Mountain Challenge! The off-site, overnight outdoor education program for the oldest boys’ and girls’ is a great chance to connect to God through interacting with nature, rain or shine! Dont forget to check the special Packing List!

We've had a wonderful time working with Jr. Staff and the Counselor in Training program for children entering grades 9 & 10, and it has been a very valuable experience for everyone!. It is outlined in greater detail on the Policies and Procedures page. For those Teens interested in applying to be on staff please read the information there and fill out the appropriate application.

Volunteer Staff are the basis for a successful camp experience. Without proper staffing levels we cannot accept children into camp. Serving as a counselor, assistant counselor or in another staff position can be challenging and extremely rewarding.
